Gower Street Advisor Conducts Monitoring and Learning Visit
A monitoring and learning visit reviewed implementation progress, project facilities, stakeholder participation and early lessons from Life in a Changing Landscape, Phase II.

On 8 May 2026, Dr Dickson Adom of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology conducted a monitoring and learning visit on behalf of Gower Street to Life in a Changing Landscape, Phase II.
The visit formed part of the programme’s monitoring and evaluation process. It provided an opportunity to review implementation progress, strengthen stakeholder engagement and identify lessons that could inform subsequent activities.
During the visit, the advisor toured project facilities, including the demonstration farm, composting facility, seedling nursery, irrigation system and repurposed container unit.
Discussions addressed progress during the first quarter of implementation, including farm-establishment activities, farmer and student training, field demonstrations and knowledge-exchange activities undertaken with WildRain.
The advisor also met project staff and interviewed participating farmers. Farmers discussed their experiences, benefits observed, continuing challenges and expectations for subsequent support.
The visit supported reflection, accountability and learning, helping the implementation team assess whether activities remained responsive to participating communities and aligned with the programme’s intended outcomes.
